Greetings and welcome to the October installment of our newsletter! Without any further ado, let's hit the news.

There was quite a bit going on in our fleet this month. Topping off the news, a new division named Ghost Squadron was opened. Ghost is an experimental unit that aims to recreate a sense of squadron unity through intense storyline and member activity in the ITOD.
In the RSM, a new squadron called "Starfighter Paint Division" opened up to work on a special project for the Executive Branch. Contact Captain Dhruv Kalra (cdtdhruvk2@charter.net) if you want to learn more about his job.
In SWAT, another squadron was added to provide room for future increases in the membership. The original SWAT squadron is known nown as Archon Squadron, and the new squadron is Lurker Squadron.
Lastly, as many of you know, our beloved STC CO, Harley "Jester" Quinn, resigned from his post. As his replacement, and at his request, I have installed the RFXO, Major General Ben Jynzer (Ben@rebelsquadrons.org) as the new STC CO. I know Ben can continue the work in the STC that Jester has started, but we'll still miss Jester and we all wish him well!

The webpage remains much as it did on the last update. The one point of interest is that I have updated the page to reflect the creation of Ghost Squadron. The divisions page is found, as usual, at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/rf/divisions.php

There are no promotions at this time.

I've also not received any request to advertise job openings, although from a look at RSM's roster, it looks like they could use a few officers! Contact Python (python.rs@ntlworld.com) if you're interested there.

The RF is continuing to grow, despite what being fully involved in school does to many of us! Our membership count is at 65, which I feel is impressive. Thanks for making the RF a great place to be!
